Victoria Ting, Associate Director, Setia Law
Victoria Ting, who works at Setia Law as an Associate Director, talks about how female lawyers today owe a lot to the brave women who came before them. She feels lucky to be practicing law at a time when being a woman and a litigator isn’t unusual anymore. She acknowledges that there’s still a long way to go for true equality, especially in higher-ranking positions and certain areas of law, like white-collar crime.
Victoria tries to set a good example for others. She believes that you can be successful in this field without having to adopt all the traditional ‘male’ characteristics, like being aggressive. Instead, she finds that qualities like empathy and understanding can actually lead to better results for her clients.

Jennifer Siu, Head of Credit, First Plus Asset Management
Jennifer Siu, who leads the Credit team at First Plus Asset Management, says it’s important for her, as a young Leader, to help break down barriers for both Men and Women in their careers. She focuses on tackling unconscious Biases at work by encouraging open Discussions and respecting different opinions. Jennifer believes that when everyone feels valued and heard, it boosts creativity and productivity, benefiting everyone involved.

Karine Lee, Regional Head of Human Resources Asia
Karine Lee, who oversees Human Resources for Asia at VP Bank, says that inclusivity is a big part of how they do Business. They work hard to make sure their team is Diverse and they always try to be fair and Unbiased. They also focus on open communication, which helps everyone respect and trust each other, creating a positive work environment. They show this commitment through policies and programs like personalized training, better benefits and support for Employee well being. This is all to keep their team Happy, Productive and sticking around for the long time.

Jamie Koh Founder & Owner, Chupitos Shots Bar
Jamie Koh started Chupitos Shots Bar in Clarke Quay. She thinks it’s really important for everyone to feel included at her place. She believes that in the food and drink business, having different ideas is great for coming up with new things. She wants her workplace to be open to all kinds of opinions that help both her staff and customers.

Jamie says that a company’s way of doing things is its biggest strength. She thinks being open to everyone should be a big part of how a Company works. She pays attention to Hiring people in a fair way and making sure everyone feels safe and respected.


Kelly Cheong, Senior Human Resources Manager, PSGourmet Group
Kelly Cheong, who works as a Senior Manager in Human Resources at PSGourmet Group, says they’re happy about how inclusive and diverse their workplace is. They have people of different Ages, Backgrounds, Genders and more in their team. Kelly thinks having these differences makes them stronger and helps them understand things from different perspectives. They want everyone to feel comfortable being themselves at work. They make sure all their staff understand and respect each other’s differences from day one.

Koh Yan Ping, CEO,SCWO
Koh Yan Ping says At SCWO, we want everyone to feel included and supported. Our goal is to make sure that everyone has an equal say and is valued the same, no matter their gender. She also says that they work with over 60 different organizations to achieve this. They challenge traditional ideas about gender and encourage cooperation between Women and Men. Some of the things they do include honoring accomplished women through the Singapore Women’s Hall of Fame and helping women who want to become directors through the BoardAgender program.


Shyn Yee Ho-Strangas, Managing DSS

Shyn Yee Ho-Strangas who is the Managing Director of Data and Software Solutions at PropertyGuru Group. For over ten years, she has been working on initiatives to make sure everyone feels included. She shares that she believes it’s important to have allies, recognition, and Guidance to promote inclusion. At PropertyGuru, having Support and Allies helped lay the groundwork for making everyone feel included. As part of the leadership team she said she works with other leaders to make sure our policies meet the needs of our diverse workforce.She is passionate about helping other women succeed in leadership roles too.

Supreeya Mokaramanee, CFO, Siemens Thailand
Supreeya Mokaramanee who is a leader at Siemens Thailand, focuses on making sure everyone feels included and valued. She shares that our  sustainability plan highlights the importance of fairness. which she strongly believes in. She encourages Diversity and inclusion by supporting Genuine expression, Respecting different viewpoints and making sure everyone has equal chances to grow in their careers.She is committed to creating a workplace where everyone’s efforts are appreciated and acknowledged.


Veronika Folkova, Senior Director, APAC
Veronika Folkova who is the Senior Director of People Business Partners at Confluent, overseeing their legal team globally and in Asia Pacific. At Confluent,she  believes in including everyone by educating both our Employees and Leaders.She says we  tackle things like the pay gap between genders and unconscious biases. They support programs like mentoring and Job shadowing. She says offering flexible work options is important to us and we make sure female talent is noticed at every level. She shares that they create a place where everyone can do well and be themselves.

Sylvia Varela, Area Vice President, Asia, AstraZeneca
Sylvia Varela is the Area Vice President for Asia at AstraZeneca. She shares that we focus on making sure everyone in our workforce can do their best. They are dedicated to giving women and girls the same chances as everyone else. She also shares that more than half of our Employees and Leaders are Women. She says we  encourage men to support each other to create a culture where everyone’s ideas are valued. She thinks together they are working towards a future where everyone helps make things better.
