Washington: Police officers in the United States have been charged with the second-degree murder of an African-American man. The man died on January 10 with multiple injuries on his body.

The police have been blamed because the incident took place 3 days after the police officers stopped him for reckless driving. On the 7th of January 2023, the police stopped the man and arrested him for foul.

The first black woman Cerelin Davis-  who is the Police Chief of the city addressed the media on Thursday. She said in her statement that the five policemen were fired from their service. In her statement, Police Chief Davis has appealed to the people to remain calm until the January 7 footage becomes public. He also said that this incident is not a failure of the authority, it is a failure of humanity toward the people.

There was also a statement from President Joe Biden, in which he is appealing to the people to take out a peaceful protest march, but keep patience till they see the video clip of January 7.

But apart from these, media sources are crying foul that the matter is a very heinous crime. In the video clip, the young man thrashed without adulteration, fearlessly, non-stop for three minutes.
