The device uses AI to transform CT images of human joints into 3D models in just a few minutes, replacing the time-intensive daylong process. Chen Peng indicates the use of AI robots reduced surgery times by 30% while decreasing medicinal sedation periods and lowering medical risks.
In February of 2018, Beijing Children’s Hospital introduced its first pediatric AI system, which matched expert reviews when diagnosing complex pediatric tumors and rare diseases. The RuiPath system at Ruijin Hospital uses AI technology to transform pathology work by completing slide analysis in seconds compared to 40 minutes while serving 6000 slides each day in the hospital. Dr. Liu Zhongjun from Peking University Third Hospital underlines that AI is designed to help doctors perform administrative work so they can focus on treating patients with compassion.
