It’s official! Prominent k-pop group BLACKPINK’s Lisa is the latest addition to the line-up for the 2024 Global Citizen Festival. Global Citizen is one of the leading organisations across the globe seeking to end extreme poverty for once and for all.

Lisa is getting ready to mark her first live solo set at a festival as she performs in the concert scheduled to be held on September 28 at NYC’s Central Park. She is joining previously confirmed headliners Post Malone, Doja Cat and Jelly Roll.

The timing can’t be better. In July, Lisa landed her first Billboard Global Exclusive US No. 1 through “Rockstar”. Just a month before that, the superstar joined TikTok and set a Guinness record by gaining 1 million fans on the platform in just a couple of hours.

2024 Global Citizen Festival to feature prominent names

Lisa has smashed an impressive collection of records, just like the other three members of the k-pop group – Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo. Katie Hill, senior VP and head of music, entertainment and artist relations at Global Citizen, expressed delight at the development.

Lisa is not only an incredible performer but also a prominent advocate, using her voice and platform to drive action on some of the most important and the urgent challenges the global community is currently facing, Hill added.
