Last year, a couple of Nasa astronauts took off for the International Space Station (ISS). They thought it’s an eight-day mission. But technical difficulties elongated their time in space. It has been 7 months since Sunita and Barry left for the ISS.

Things are expected to change for the better soon. US President Donald Trump has asked billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk and SpaceX to bring home the stranded astronauts as soon as possible. This update is making global headlines.

The astronauts took off for the Space Station last year. But in the subsequent days, engineers at Nasa and Boeing started finding problems in the spacecraft’s propulsion system. They had to return the spacecraft back to Earth.

There are serious concerns about both astronauts’ health. Experts are questioning the impact of extended space stays on their bodies. But Nasa has maintained that both Sunita and Barry are healthy and comfortable in the International Space Station.
