Elon Musk-led Tesla supporting employees and communities impacted by Palisades and Eaton Fires
The death toll in the California fires has risen to 24. Firefighters are putting significant efforts into search and rescue operations against the blazes that continue to destroy thousands of homes across the state.
The Palisades Fire has burned through 23,723 acres and is only 13% contained so far. The Eaton Fire, that emerged some time later near Pasadena, has destroyed 14,117 acres and is 27% contained at the moment, as per media reports.
Led by CEO Elon Musk, Tesla has been putting efforts into supporting employees and communities impacted by the fires. For example, for impacted employees, the company is offering housing accommodations, transportation and meals.
In terms of Tesla Superchargers, all of the company’s Supercharger sites are back online, except Pasadena Supercharger as it’s in the middle of the fire. Tesla Cybertrucks (Starlinks installed) are stationed at different locations in affected areas.
