elon musk stirs the political scene with first trump event in philly suburbs
Elon Musk conducted his first political event to support Donald Trump’s in his upcoming presidential campaign on Thursday, urging the voters in the suburbs of Philadelphia to register and participate in early voting. He told them that the “fate of Western civilization” is on Donald Trump regaining the presidency.
Elon Musk launched a five nights campaign and the town hall series is organised by America PAC which is an organisation that supports Donald Trump and was established by Elon Musk.
The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has become a significant figure in American politics as Musk told the audience at Ridley High School in Folsom,“It’s very clear to me that Donald Trump has to win this election.”
He mentioned that the outcome of the election can come down to just a few votes in Pennsylvania, “it could be 10,000 votes, it could be 1,000 votes, it could be 10 votes, it could be some very tiny number. So every incremental person is a huge difference.”
Musk stood there on the stage for roughly about an hour on Thursday, responding to questions from attendees and voicing well known complaints regarding the government, crime rates in San Francisco and other urban areas, immigration issues and one of his preferred subjects was freedom of expression.

Musk mentioned about his visit to the U.S. border and said that it “looks like World War Z, OK, it’s like a zombie apocalypse. If you don’t have a border, you don’t have a country, as someone who’s an immigrant, I’m pro-immigrant. I just want to be sure that people who come here are going to be assets to society.”
The majority of the audience seemed to be fans of Musk. They were complimenting his businesses like SpaceX, Tesla and Neuralink. At one point he was seen wearing a gold hat of “Make America Great Again”. At the end of the show, he even called a child onstage for a selfie and to sign an autograph.
An audience member who is an immigrant to the U.S. from Malaysia sparked a question that she supports Trump but was “frustrated and it’s all because of the cheating. So what are we going to do with that?”
Musk responded, “When you have mail-in ballots and no sort of proof of citizenship, it becomes almost impossible to prove cheating is the issue. I’m a technologist. I know a lot of our computers, and I’m like, the last thing I would do is trust a computer program, because it’s just too easy to hack. It’s too easy to add just one line, and it’s really difficult to hack paper ballots.”
