Employers Are Bringing Their Workforce Back to the Workplace with Work-Life Balance & Well-Being Programs

As per the Report of 13th Annual Employer-Sponsored Health & Well-Being Survey – Employers are paying more attention to their employees’ well-being as they aim for return-to-worksite strategies.

The 83% result is indicating that employees’ health will play an important role in the coming weeks.

Health & Well-Being Survey for 2022

This 13th Annual Employer-Sponsored Health & Well-Being Survey was held by Fidelity Investments and the Non-profit Business Group. The main focus was to aim for the health of the workforce.

It was organized from December 2021 to January 2022 among 166 different large & midsize businesses & organizations.

Vital Aspects for Return-to-Worksite Strategies

As per the inference of the survey report, following initiatives will be the essential aspects for return-to-worksite strategies in 2022:

  • Mental Health – 91%
  • Physical Health – 60%
  • Work-Life Balance – 57%

New Structure of Working Model

Employers are altering their well-being initiatives as they take employees returned to a regular workplace, many for the first time in the last two years, according to the poll.

1) Hybrid Working Model

The majority of participants responded that in 2022, they expect a majority of their employees to work in a hybrid (60%) working model.

2) Half Onsite Schedule

While almost half of the organizations intend the majority of their workforce to work onsite 3 days a week.

3) Job Satisfaction Level

In their well-being campaign, they are emphasizing to seize 52% job satisfaction. The job satisfaction level was just 35% last year.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion & Health

The survey was held among lots of large-sized and mid-sized companies & employers. The results of the survey are following:

  • 81% employers’ DE&I strategy has influenced the structure of their well-being program, according to participants.
  • 82% employers ensure that they discuss the connection among DE&I and well-being with their staff.
  • 50% of them create well-being projects to help previously underserved groups.
  • 45% of employers plan to evaluate rewards and well-being programs for their ability to be inclusive.

In addition, 40% employers aim to create DE&I guidelines and recommendations for supply chain partners in 2022, according to the report.

The survey also found that 40 percent of employers plan to create DE&I standards and guidance for vendors and suppliers in 2022.
