Global layoffs: Job seekers should carry these lessons into next year

January 1, 2025, is just around the corner. Scores of people are going to carry fond memories of career progress into the next year. But for some other people, this year has been quite challenging, especially for those in the tech sector.

Scores of people in major companies lost their jobs this year, according to a report by TNN. Tesla, Microsoft, Intel and Cisco are among the companies that laid off numerous employees for different reasons.

These serious global layoffs have largely been attributed to cost-cutting measures, corporate restructuring, and the need to adapt to changing market conditions. The report highlighted that Intel faced substantial losses this year and plans to cut billions in costs by next year.
