Health Agency Cuts 10,000 Jobs in Massive Workforce Reduction

Under HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. the Department of Health and Human Services starts its change process by firing 10,000 staff members from their positions. The Trump administration takes strong measures to decrease government departments by removing 10,000 employees.

The department will make the highest number of terminations at health agencies including FDA and CDC. Through staff retirement and recent retirement offers HHS reduces its staff count to 62,000 employees.
