US voters have regularly been hearing the term “Project 2025” highlighted more and more by President Joe Biden, Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris and other members of the party in the run-up to the November election.
The ruling Democrats have been sounding the alarm on the potential scenarios if former President Donald Trump grabs a second term in office. They continue to connect the businessman-turned-politician to the controversial proposal.
Donald Trump constantly distancing himself from Project 2025
Overseen by the conservative Heritage Foundation, Project 2025 is a proposed presidential transition project. Trump and his campaign have been distancing themselves from the initiative. The politician even once called some of the proposals in it “ridiculous” and “abysmal”.
But the ruling party has been continuously trying to tie the transition project to Trump, cautioning that its policy proposals are something the US citizens can expect if they elect the former President in the upcoming November election.
