US President-elect Donald Trump has confirmed that his administration is going to declare a national emergency and use military assets in a mass deportation programme. On Monday, he gave an affirmative response to a netizen’s post on such reports.
Trump’s incoming border czar Tom Homan has emphasised that from Day 1 itself, the incoming administration is ready to prioritise public safety and national security to first deport 425,000 illegal immigrants holding criminal records.
Stressing that “legal immigrants are perfectly safe”, Homan noted that there are millions of deserving immigrants and asylum seekers pushed to the back of the line because of the invasion of illegals, according to a report in Times of India.
