Israeli Strikes in Gaza Kill at Least 18 Palestinians, Medics Report
Houses brought down in Israeli air strikes on Saturday in Gaza strips left at least 18 Palestinians dead some of whom were Hamas operatives and civilians. A mortuary aerial bombardment close to the building of the municipality of Deir Al-Balah hit 10 individuals who were in a shed to receive humanitarian provisions: the secretary-general of the Hamas’s administrative committee in the Strip was among them.
The Israeli military stated that they targeted individuals taking cover and aid supply depots stating that planes targeted guerrillas and weapons depots in response to rocket attacks on Israel. In another attack, at least seven people lost their lives in a former displacement shelter in Gaza City on Friday.
Recently, when they killed 1,200 people and captured about 250, other attacks followed by Israel have claimed more than 44,000 Palestinians’ lives and thousands of them become refugees. However, the peace talks that include cease-fire and hostage exchange negotiations by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States are gradually gaining momentum.
