italian pm giorgia meloni themed restaurant opened near migrant centres

The Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has been keen on her efforts on constraining illegal immigration since her tenure commenced on October 22, 2022. PM Meloni primarily advocated for the strict asylum policies in the European Union which will ultimately eradicate the threat of illegal migration into the Italian border, human trafficking and other illegal activities.
The restaurant named “Trattoria Meloni”, is located in the northern port of Shengjin. It was launched by a 58-year old Albanian entrepreneur and a former actor Luca on honouring the legacy of Italian PM Meloni’s political administration, her foreseeing efforts against the illegal migration and her strong decisions over the issues of asylum seekers fromAlbania. He opened this Meloni themed restaurant filled with 70 portraits of hers including smiling Meloni, angry Meloni, serious Meloni, portraits of Meloni as a child, teenager and a politician. He said that these portraits were painted by a renowned Albanian artist, Heliton Haliti. He believes that one day PM Giorgia Meloni might visit his restaurant and taste his food.

“Meloni is a very interesting, strong character and even, if her political convictions aren’t my own, that hasn’t stopped me from doing a passionate job”. Haliti told AFP.
To stop the illegal migration in the regions of North Africa, Meloni signed a pact between the European Union & Tunisia, which offered millions of euros in July, 2023. It helped to restrict the boats used for illegal migration and enhanced the economy & education sectors. Before the inauguration of this Meloni themed restaurant, she had visited the Shengjin centre. She announced that this would be among the two centres for asylum and the process of taking the men who crossed the Mediterranean from north Africa to Albania will commence in the coming weeks. She received the support for this pact from the Prime Minister of UK, Keir Starmer who vowed to send 4 million euros.
This newly opened PM Meloni themed restaurant is considered as a political move to reflect her political role and her visionary policies on restricting the illegal migration.
