microsoft, salesforce, nvidia hiring new employees; can you get the job
Microsoft, an American multinational technology company, Salesforce, an American cloud-based software company, and Nvidia, another American multinational technology company, are set to hire new employees. The hiring comes amid a layoff tsunami, wherein thousands of employees have lost their jobs.
Big technology companies will restart hiring soon. However, these companies are looking to hire OpenAI employees. Furthermore, insights from recent reports show that various Big Tech organizations offered jobs to OpenAI employees, who were considering leaving the company.
The three American companies have provided job offers to OpenAI employees as they are seeking to hire new employees. Recently, many OpenAI Employees have threatened to quit and join Microsoft.
Samuel Harris Altman’s sudden exit from OpenAI shocked the employees. OpenAI’s decision to lay off Sam Altman has put the company’s future in jeopardy. Around 700 out of 770 employees at OpenAI have threatened to quit the board if the company doesn’t bring back Sam Altman.
Subsequently, Big Tech organizations offered jobs to these employees.
Kevin Scott, chief technology officer (CTO) of Microsoft and Marc Benioff, the founder and CEO of Salesforce, offered to match the compensation of any OpenAI employees.
Meta’s Fundamental AI Research team and Nvidia also gave job offers to former OpenAI employees. The company offered to place former OpenAI employees in their divisions.
Jim Fan, AI Research Scientist, wrote on social media platform X, previously Twitter, “My team at NVIDIA is hiring. We love you all from OpenAI. Engineers, researchers, product team, alike. Email me at linxif@nvidia.com. DM is open too. NVIDIA has warm GPUs for you on a cold winter night like this, fresh out of the oven.”
