Dubai is the most overworked city in 2022. Sometimes, workers feel burnout due to work. The working hours in Dubai tends to vary between 40 and 48 hours a week. People work in a fast-paced environment. However, the city still offers a great work-life balance. People can take 30 days of paid leave.
Hong Kong, officially the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, is the second most overworked city in the world. Employees are overworked and unhappy in their jobs. The average worker spends more than 44 hours at work every week.
The average worker spends 48 hours at work every week in Kuala Lumpur. The city ranks 3rd in Kisi’s index of the most overworked cities in the world. Many people feel that colleagues are a barrier to achieving work-life balance.
Singapore is a city-state in maritime Southeast Asia. Most employees in Singapore work 9-10 hours during the weekdays. It does not provide a good work-life balance to employees. Reportedly, 78% of Singaporeans feel burnt out at work.
