The UK government has already announced details of immigration plans to address concerns about the job market, especially announcing new health and care visa for medical professionals to work in the UK.
According to The Guardian, Priti stated, that the British people have cast a ballot to help control our borders and introduce a unique points-based immigration system. Presently we have exited the EU, and we are free to work in maximum capacity and execute changes to re-establish trust in the immigration plan and convey a new attractive, more durable, skilled-led immigration system from 1 January 2021.”
Under the new system, the UK borders will remain closed to non-skilled laborers. Applicants will have to prove themselves in a comprehensive understanding of the English language. Candidates should likewise have an employment letter with a minimum salary of £25,600 per year. However, EU nationals will also have equal opportunities to work following post-Brexit immigration plans.

Industry pioneers have recently communicated anxiety over the proposed plan and the effect it might have on the job scenario while colleges and universities are worried about a possible decrease in the number of international students.
However, a new graduate plan starting in summer 2021 will permit global students to stay in the UK once they have finished their studies.
Those students who will complete their masters or undergraduate degree will have the option to stay for two years, and those who will complete a Ph.D. degree could stay for three years. Through the EU settlement plan until 30 June 2021, EU citizen residents will, however, be able to apply to dwell in the UK, The Guardian stated.
