For peace and nation’s progress, in February 2019, the 14 armed rebel groups, which include 3R and the African government, marked a Political Arrangement for Peace and Reconciliation. However, the assaults have continued to hamper the harmony in the country.
This criminal assault comprises another violation of the peace deal amid the 3R and its pioneer Abass Sidiki.

The UN Secretary-General expressed his deepest sympathies to the victim’s families, and also to the Government and people of Rwanda, as per the statement given by his office Spokesperson.
The assault against United Nations peacekeepers may establish as war crimes under international law, as per the UN Secretary-General. He asks the Central African Republic authorities to investigate the matter so that they are brought to justice soon “, he added.
He also reaffirmed that the United Nations will keep on supporting national endeavors to propel harmony and steadiness in the Central African Republic, working closely with the nation’s international allies.”
