What happened to UNRWA workers?
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) workers are afraid for their lives because of the ongoing conflict. They described the situation as a hellhole, a spokeswoman for the UN agency said.
The 13,000 UNRWA workers in The Gaza Strip include teachers, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, warehouse workers, logisticians, technicians and drivers. It is the largest United Nations agency working in Gaza.
Juliette Touma, UNRWA Spokeswoman, told reporters that workers are tired. UNRWA workers reportedly told the authorities, “Get us out of this hellhole. This has become hell.”

Catherine Russell, who currently serves as Executive Director of UNICEF, said, “Many children have been killed or injured.”The President of the United States, Joe Biden, said that Hamas beheaded 40 babies.
A spokesperson for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu also said that Hamas raped various Israeli women. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said, “Women, children and toddlers as well as elderly were brutally butchered in an ISIS way of action.”
